This is a list of the current scores our band is hoping to play. By purchasing a score for the band, you will be able to dedicate all future performances of that score to a special someone. Your dedication message will be announced before all live performances. Below is our music wish-list. If there is a piece of music not on our list, please contact Rob (rob.kinnear@hotmail.ca), to discuss if it is a score we may already own or be willing to add to future performances. The average score price is $150.

Frenzi
Composer: Alberto Dominguez
Arranger: Naohiro Iwai
"Frenesí" is a musical piece originally composed by Alberto Domínguez Borrás for the marimba, and adapted as a jazz standard by Arti Shaw, Natalie Cole, Ray Charles, Bing Crosby, Tommy Dorsey and many others. The word frenesí is Spanish for "frenzy".
Fly Me to the Moon
(In Other Words)
Composer: Bart Howard
Arranger: Takashi Hoshide
This famous evergreen, performed by Frank Sinatra and many others, is now arranged with lovely solos for trumpet and flute. After an'authentic' opening, Bart Howard allows the arrangement to glide into a bossa nova.
Watch Your Step!
Composer: Philip Sparke
The title was chosen to represent Biel as the watch-making capital of Switzerland and is one part of a series of 'up tempo' Sparke marches. After a bright opening, a syncopated first theme is played by woodwinds, a “bass strain” returns to herald a truncated version of the main theme, before the opening fanfare reappears as a coda.
Dublin Pictures
Composer: Marc Jeanbourquin
The first movement reflects Irish festivals with dancing and beer flowing. More tranquil in its feel, the second movement illustrates the landscape that can be seen from the Ha’penny Bridge. The lively and joyful rhythms of the last movement take the listener to Temple Bar, with virtuosic motifs for a spirited and festive finale.
The Falls
Composer: Rossano Galante
Highlighting the falls as it cascades over rocky terrain, sparkling wind and brass fanfares depict the water as it rushes forward before exploding over the edge. Melodic lines transport the audience into the mysterious and rapturous wilderness as this remarkable piece evokes one of nature's must glorious creations.
Jitterbug!
Composer: Robert Buckley
At the height of the jazz age, each of the major swing bands had their own “signature” sound. This composition puts these various sounds and rhythms together in homage to a vibrant and innovative time in American music, but commissioned in tribute to “Canada's King of Swing”, Dal Richards.
LOL
Composer: Robert Buckley
LOL (Laugh Out Loud) is a wacky, fast-and-furious barn-burner reminiscent of a circus march or “screamer.” Cartoon-like trombone glissandi, flying woodwinds, dizzying brass and laughing rhythms create a zany and thrilling off the wall highlight to any occasion.
